It’s natural to be anxious about how other people will react to the news that you have cancer.

Will they cry? What will they ask me? Will they say nothing? Will they suddenly want to help run my life? Will they tell me an anecdote about a relative of theirs who had cancer and responded in a certain way? Will they try and give me advice?

How you approach a cancer diagnosis is very different for everyone.  Who should I involve and when?  What do I tell everyone?  Should I tell my children?  These are all questions that get asked, and there are no right or wrong answers.
